Riyadh will host the new and largest edition of the Future Projects Forum, organized by the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), from September 8 to 10 at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. The upcoming edition is attracting growing interest from local and international entities and will feature a wide range of projects and accompanying activities.

The Forum is one of the leading platforms bringing together contractors and construction industry stakeholders with project owners from both the public and private sectors. It provides a unique opportunity to explore details of future projects across the Kingdom, spanning various sizes and specializations, while also enabling participants to learn about project owners’ requirements and application procedures.

The Forum also offers a valuable opportunity for direct engagement with decision-makers and industry leaders, while strengthening local and international partnerships that contribute to the growth and sustainability of the contracting industry.

This year’s edition will feature a number of specialized events aimed at supporting and empowering the sector and its professionals. Among the most prominent is the Contractors Financing Solutions Conference, which will address key financing challenges facing contractors and present a range of effective solutions and practices through workshops and presentations, with participation from government entities, financial institutions, and local and international banks.

The Forum will also launch the “Contractor-to-Contractor” initiative, which aims to strengthen cooperation among contractors of different sizes. The initiative will enable large contractors to showcase their projects and technical requirements while providing small and medium-sized contractors with opportunities to access these projects and expand their partnerships, contributing positively to the sector’s growth.

Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority, said: “Since its inception, the Future Projects Forum has witnessed remarkable growth in both the scale of participation and the quality of projects presented. As part of its efforts to support national talent, the Forum will host the National Construction Festival, an educational and competitive event targeting students from specialized academic institutions. Participants will be tasked with completing specific engineering designs within designated timeframes under the supervision of a specialized judging panel.

The Festival aims to showcase the skills of Saudi youth and promote excellence and professional competency in the construction sector through partnerships with educational institutions and industry leaders, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives to empower national talent.
