Access to Information and Digital Services

The Saudi Contractors Authority strives to make its information and digital services easily and clearly accessible to contracting establishments, individual contractors, individuals, government and private entities, partners, and those interested in the contracting sector.

This page outlines the general approach that guides the Authority in designing, developing, and operating its digital channels, and what beneficiaries can expect when using them.

The Authority’s Digital Channels

The Authority may introduce additional digital channels, modify existing channels, or discontinue them as appropriate to serve the public interest and meet regulatory requirements.

Our Guiding Principles

  • Beneficiary Centricity: Services and information are designed, where possible, around beneficiaries’ needs, their context of use, and their complete journey.
  • Inclusivity and Equitable Access: Usability is considered for the widest possible range of users, with suitable alternatives provided where feasible when a digital channel cannot be used.
  • Clarity and Simplicity: Clear and direct Arabic content is used, with an effort to explain requirements, steps, and expected outcomes in an understandable manner.
  • Reducing Repeated Data Requests: The Authority seeks to reduce requests for data already lawfully available to it, where regulations, integrations, and access permissions allow.
  • Privacy and Security: Data protection and cybersecurity requirements are considered throughout the service lifecycle in accordance with approved controls.
  • Consistency Across Channels: The Authority seeks to maintain consistency in information, requirements, and application status across digital channels and support channels.
  • Continuous Improvement: The quality of the user experience is measured subject to data availability, and findings and feedback are used to identify improvement priorities.

What You Can Find on a Service Page

The Authority seeks to include the following elements on each service page, as applicable and available:

  • A description of the service and its intended beneficiaries.
  • Service conditions, requirements, and required documents.
  • The steps for obtaining the service and the available channels.
  • Applicable fees, if any, and the estimated completion time.
  • Support options and how to submit an inquiry or escalate an issue.

Published timeframes and figures are indicative and may vary depending on the nature of the application and whether its requirements have been fully met.

Digital Accessibility

The Authority works to take approved national accessibility standards into account within their applicable scope and is guided by recognized web content accessibility guidelines, in accordance with approved implementation plans and the nature of each channel.

If you experience difficulty accessing any content or service, we welcome your feedback through the contact channels outlined below so that we can work to provide a suitable alternative where feasible.

Support and Assistance

The Authority provides channels for obtaining information and assistance and specifies, where applicable, operating hours, indicative response times, and how to follow up on or escalate a request.

Your Feedback and Suggestions

Beneficiaries’ feedback contributes to the development of the Authority’s services and is received through designated channels. For further details, please refer to the E-Participation page.

Privacy and Data Protection

The Authority collects only the data necessary to provide its services and explains the purposes of collecting and using that data, its retention period, and the associated rights, in accordance with the laws and regulations in force in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

General Notice
