The seventh edition of the Future Projects Forum 2025, organized by the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), kicked off on Monday, September 8, 2025, at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center, in the presence of a number of ministers, senior officials, and representatives from more than 214 local and international entities.

The first day featured presentations by a number of prominent organizations, including Saudi Aramco, the Saudi Electricity Company, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, Riyadh Municipality, the National Water Company, the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, and the Saudi Water Authority. Evening sessions continued with participation from the Holy Makkah Municipality, Eastern Province Municipality, Jeddah Municipality, the Syrian Investment Authority, and the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen.

The National Construction Festival also commenced as part of the Forum’s activities, bringing together students from the National Construction Academy and the Maharat Construction Training Center in practical plumbing competitions held before a panel of judges and visitors.

The Forum also hosted more than 20 free workshops covering a wide range of topics, including digital transformation in project management, performance-based contracts, artificial intelligence in contracting, sustainability, smart transportation, and transparency in project delivery.

The first day concluded with the Forum’s official opening ceremony at 3:30 p.m., followed by the signing of several agreements between participating entities in the presence of senior officials, with the aim of strengthening partnerships and opening new investment opportunities in the contracting sector.
