The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) signed a cooperation memorandum with the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) at the Program’s headquarters in Riyadh. The memorandum aims to facilitate the exchange of expertise, strengthen cooperation, and benefit from the Authority’s experience in contractor qualification, classification, and the preparation of studies and research related to the contracting sector, contributing to the advancement of development efforts in Yemen across various fields.

The Saudi Contractors Authority was represented at the signing by Mr. Mohammed Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Board, while the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen was represented by Eng. Hassan Al-Attas, Assistant General Supervisor.

The memorandum aims to build and develop the capabilities of contractors, consultants, and professionals working on development projects and initiatives, while drawing on the Authority’s experience in advancing the contracting sector. The SCA has extensive expertise in regulating and developing the contracting industry, building distinguished productive capabilities, creating a safe and high-quality business environment, developing appropriate solutions to the challenges facing contractors, encouraging innovation, and strengthening communication among all stakeholders in the sector.
