The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), headed by Chairman of the Board Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan and attended by a number of Board members and the Authority’s Secretary-General, participated in an open meeting with contractors in Madinah Region. The meeting was organized by the Madinah Chamber of Commerce and attended by Mr. Fahad bin Alyan Al-Mughair, Vice Chairman of the Chamber’s Board of Directors; Mr. Naif Mubairik Al-Jabri, Chairman of the Contractors Committee in the region; and a number of business leaders and contractors.

The meeting forms part of the Authority’s efforts to strengthen engagement with contractors across the Kingdom, listen to their feedback and proposals, and work to enhance the efficiency and capabilities of the contracting sector.

During the meeting, participants discussed the key challenges facing the contracting sector in Madinah Region and reviewed joint efforts by the Authority, government entities, and the private sector to address obstacles and improve the business environment. These efforts aim to strengthen the capabilities of local contractors and contribute to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority, emphasized that open meetings with contractors are a key pillar of the Authority’s strategy to strengthen engagement with the sector and benefit from the practical experience of industry professionals in developing initiatives and policies that support higher quality and greater efficiency in contracting activities across the Kingdom.
