The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) held an introductory meeting ahead of the launch of the seventh edition of the Future Projects Forum, during which it highlighted the Forum’s key features and development programs aimed at strengthening the position of the contracting sector as one of the main drivers of national development.

Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority, explained that this year’s edition will be held in an expanded format featuring a diverse range of activities, including the Contractors Financing Conference, the National Construction Festival featuring specialized competitions, and the “Contractor-to-Contractor” platform, which aims to enable small and medium-sized contractors to build alliances with major companies and participate in large-scale national projects. Specialized workshops addressing topics and issues relevant to industry professionals will also be held throughout the Forum.

Al-Ajlan noted that the Forum will take place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center from September 8 to 10, 2025, with the participation of more than 214 entities, in addition to local and international companies. More than 21,200 future projects will be showcased, with the aim of enhancing transparency and enabling investors and contractors to explore promising opportunities.

Regarding the development of national talent, the Chairman stated that the Authority recently launched a program to train and qualify Saudi professionals, from which nearly 40 young men and women have graduated. He added that localization will feature prominently through the National Construction Festival, organized in collaboration with specialized academies, helping connect qualified national talent with major and medium-sized companies.
