The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), in collaboration with the Public Investment Fund (PIF), concluded the Contractors Prequalification Program 2025, which ran for four days and witnessed active participation from a number of contractors interested in qualifying for projects undertaken by PIF portfolio companies.

The program featured an intensive training camp covering several key areas, including prequalification criteria, project management, occupational health and safety, integrated cost estimation, supply chain management, inherent defects insurance, and dispute management. The training methodology focused on practical application and interactive learning.

The event saw strong engagement from participants, who highlighted the value of the technical content and expertise shared throughout the program. They also emphasized the importance of the initiative in enhancing their readiness to participate in high-value projects with PIF portfolio companies and strengthening their competitiveness in the market.

The program is one of the key initiatives jointly delivered by the Saudi Contractors Authority and the Public Investment Fund to empower contractors and support their qualification to meet the requirements of unified prequalification programs, in line with approved standards for quality, safety, and operational efficiency.

The Saudi Contractors Authority reaffirmed its commitment to continuing to deliver similar initiatives aimed at developing the Kingdom’s contracting sector, enabling national companies to contribute effectively to sustainable development projects, and supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
