His Royal Highness Prince Mutaib bin Mishaal bin Badr bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Al-Jouf Region, received today at the Emirate headquarters a delegation from the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA), headed by Chairman of the Board Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan and accompanied by a number of Board members. The visit was held as part of efforts to strengthen joint cooperation and support the development of the contracting sector in the region.

During the meeting, the delegation reviewed the Authority’s future initiatives, as well as the services and achievements highlighted in its 2024 Annual Report, in addition to key projects currently being implemented by the Authority in Al-Jouf Region.

The meeting also included an overview of the contracting sector in the region and an analysis of price indicators compared with other cities, helping provide a clearer picture of the sector’s current landscape and level of competitiveness.

The discussions also addressed the Authority’s efforts to organize roundtable meetings with contractors, its role in identifying the challenges facing the sector, and the development of practical solutions aimed at improving the quality of work and enhancing project performance.

The meeting further reviewed key aspects of the contracting sector strategy and ongoing development efforts to empower enterprises and enhance efficiency and quality, in line with the Kingdom’s national development objectives.

The meeting forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen coordination and support the contracting sector as one of the key enablers of development projects across the Kingdom, while enhancing the sector’s readiness and ability to meet future requirements
