SCA Earns Third Consecutive Great Place to Work® Certification

The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) has earned Great Place to Work® certification for the third consecutive year, recognizing it as one of Saudi Arabia’s outstanding workplaces. Awarded by the global organization Great Place to Work®, the certification acknowledges the Authority’s efforts to improve its work environment. Organizations are assessed and certified against multiple criteria and employee surveys covering management–employee relationships, fairness, respect, credibility, integrity and pride in the workplace.

This recognition reflects the Saudi Contractors Authority’s commitment to continuously improving all aspects of its work environment and achieving the highest levels of productivity and quality while fostering creativity and innovation.

Commenting on the certification, SCA Secretary-General Eng. Thabet Al-Suwaid praised the Authority’s successive achievements despite its relatively recent establishment and the challenges it continues to address with determination in support of national priorities and Saudi Vision 2030. He also thanked Great Place to Work® for its efforts throughout the assessment process.

The Saudi Contractors Authority was established by a Council of Ministers resolution dated 23/11/1436 AH to regulate and develop the contracting sector, build a highly skilled and productive workforce, and create a safe working environment that meets international standards. The Authority works to find effective solutions to the challenges facing this vital sector through initiatives that encourage innovation and strengthen communication among stakeholders in both the public and private sectors.

Through continuous workplace improvements, the Authority seeks to achieve the highest levels of productivity and quality and develop outstanding talent. In the previous year, 2020, it ranked seventh in the Great Place to Work awards in the category for government and non-profit organizations across Saudi Arabia.
