The first workshop in SCA's Standard Contracts initiative took place online last Tuesday. Contractors, engineers, arbitrators and other specialists reviewed the technical specifications and special conditions of the structural construction contract.

SCA said the workshops would continue until all 25 contracts in the project's first phase had been reviewed. The following week's workshop would examine the site preparation contract, including its technical specifications and special conditions.

The initiative aims to clarify contractual relationships between project owners and contractors, and between main contractors and subcontractors.
