The Chairman and Board members of the Saudi Contractors Authority invite principal members to attend the sixth General Assembly remotely on Thursday, March 31, 2022 (28/08/1443 AH), at 7:30 PM. A meeting link will be provided later.
The invitation is issued under SCA's governing regulation, approved by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 510, dated 23/11/1436 AH. The meeting will be held remotely in line with instructions relating to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Eligible members are Saudi contractors licensed to practice contracting who have completed their membership registration.
Members will discuss and vote on amendments to the internal implementing, administrative and financial regulations, and the policy for investing the Authority's funds.
The agenda also includes the 2021 annual report, the 2021 final accounts, the proposed 2022 budget, and the appointment and remuneration of the auditor for 2022. Further details are available on SCA's website.
At least half of the members must attend to form a quorum. If this is not achieved, another meeting must be held between 15 and 60 days later. Under Article 7(3) of the regulation, that meeting is valid regardless of attendance.
If required, the second meeting will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2022 (16/09/1443 AH), at 10:30 PM, using the same link and agenda.
Participation is restricted to Saudi contractors with completed SCA membership registration. The commercial registration holder or an authorized Saudi representative must participate personally.
