The Future Projects Forum concluded yesterday with presentations from Iraq and 15 Saudi public- and private-sector organizations, several memoranda of understanding, and excellence awards. SCA organized the forum under the patronage of Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh.
Iraq's National Investment Commission presented projects and investment opportunities to Saudi contractors. Presentations also came from Iraq's Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities, Ministry of Electricity, and Ministry of Planning.
Saudi participants presenting future projects and programs included the Saline Water Conversion Corporation, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, State Properties General Authority, Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority, Saudi Ports Authority, and Transport General Authority.
Other presenters included Saudi Arabia Railways (SAR), Saudi Electricity Company, The Red Sea Development Company and AMAALA, National Water Company, Tarshid, Jabal Omar Development Company, Awqaf Investment Company, and Tatweer Buildings Company.
Before the forum closed, SCA signed memoranda with National Water Company, Retal Urban Development, the Tarmeem Association, Alfanar, White Helmet, Ta3meed, Tatweer Buildings Company, Shaker Group, Esnad Maharah for Human Resources, and the Association of Electrical Medical Equipment Maintenance Professionals.
SCA also recognized users of its services. Al-Mardoof Contracting won the Electronic Standard Contracts award for the most contracts registered on Muqawil. Nilover Home Contracting Establishment won for the most completed contracts.
Dr. Saleh Al-Ajaji won the Advisory Services award based on his ratings and free consultation hours. Al-Ramz Al-Saudi Company received the SCA Academy award.
