SCA Partners with Government Resource Systems Center

The Saudi Contractors Authority and the National Center for Government Resource Systems signed a memorandum of understanding during the third Contracting Sector Excellence Awards ceremony.

Deputy Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Eng. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Budair and SCA Chairman Eng. Zakaria bin Abdulrahman Al-Abdulqader attended.

SCA Secretary-General Abdulmajid bin Mohammed Al-Rashoudi and Center President Eng. Youssef Abdulrahman Al-Harqan signed the agreement.

The memorandum supports joint workshops and meetings to empower contractors and raise awareness of Etimad services. Representatives of both organizations will also explore ways to improve their work and the sector's efficiency.

SCA will share contractors' challenges to help the Center improve national systems. The partners will prepare surveys to identify and analyze difficulties involving government tenders and procurement.

They will also exchange data on announced and completed projects and contractor evaluations to improve performance and transparency.

SCA works to regulate and develop contracting, build productive capabilities, address challenges, encourage innovation and strengthen industry connections.
