Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Qassim Region, the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) participated in a ceremony honoring the first graduating class of the National Construction Academy (NCA), attended by Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority, and Mr. Abdulmajeed bin Mohammed Al-Rashoudi, Secretary-General of the Authority.
The participation reflects ongoing efforts to support localization within the Kingdom’s contracting sector by qualifying distinguished national talent capable of contributing to the development and growth of this vital industry.
The ceremony celebrated the graduation of more than 236 students from two-year diploma programs in Civil Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health Management, and Supply Chain Management. The initiative received direct support from leading companies in the contracting sector, including Al Bawani.
Supporting entities were also recognized during the ceremony, including Al Ayuni, Almabani, Al Saif, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC), the National Strategic Partnerships Center, and the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF).
The Saudi Contractors Authority seeks to regulate and develop the contracting industry, build distinguished productive capabilities, encourage innovation, and strengthen communication among stakeholders across the sector. It also works to create a secure and enabling environment that serves project owners, contractors, industry professionals, and other stakeholders.
