Leading Facilities Toward a Sustainable Future

The Saudi Contractors Authority and the Saudi Facility Management Association held a virtual event today to mark World Facilities Management Day. Titled “Leading Facilities Toward a Sustainable Future,” it explored recent developments and ways to improve industry performance.

Government bodies and facilities management experts participated in discussions and workshops. They included the Saudi Building Code National Committee, State Properties General Authority, Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority, Royal Commission for Jubail and Yanbu, Real Estate General Authority, Saudi Real Estate Institute, Takamul Al Oula Facilities Management, and Rowad Al-Rai.

More than 1,000 people registered for the event.

Facilities management is a priority for SCA within building services and landscaping. Through events and workshops, the Authority works to develop contracting, build productive capabilities and address the challenges facing the workforce.
