Invitation to the Saudi Contractors Authority’s Seventh General Assembly Meeting (Virtual)

Pursuant to the Saudi Contractors Authority’s governing regulations, issued under Council of Ministers Resolution No. 510 dated 23/11/1436 AH, and its internal implementing regulations, the Chairman and members of the Authority’s Board of Directors are pleased to invite its full members to participate in the Seventh General Assembly Meeting.

The invitation is open to Saudi contractors licensed to practice contracting who have completed their membership registration with the Authority.

The meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, March 30, 2023, corresponding to 08/09/1444 AH, at 10:30 PM, through the Muqawil platform:

The agenda includes discussion, member comments and remote voting on the following items:

• Approval of amendments to the internal implementing regulations.
• Approval of amendments to the administrative regulations.
• Approval of the annual report for 2022.
• Approval of the final accounts for 2022.
• Approval of the proposed budget for 2023.
• Appointment of the external auditor and determination of the auditor’s remuneration for 2023.

A quorum of at least half of the members is required for the meeting to proceed. If a quorum is not reached, another meeting will be called no fewer than 15 days and no more than 60 days after the first meeting. The subsequent meeting will be valid regardless of the number of members attending, in accordance with Article 7, paragraph 3, of the Authority’s governing regulations.

If the first meeting does not reach a quorum, the subsequent meeting will be held on Monday, May 8, 2023, corresponding to 18/10/1444 AH, at 8:30 PM, using the same link and with the same agenda.

• Participation is restricted to Saudi contractors who have completed their membership registration with the Authority.
• The commercial registration holder or an authorized Saudi representative must participate personally.
