Invitation to the Fourth General Assembly Meeting (Virtual)

Pursuant to the Saudi Contractors Authority’s governing regulations, issued under Council of Ministers Resolution No. 510 dated 23/11/1436 AH, and with reference to the announcement published on March 1, 2020, in newspapers, on the Authority’s website, by email and through social media regarding the Fourth General Assembly Meeting, the meeting was postponed and moved online following instructions from the Ministry of Commerce in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the measures taken to limit its impact.

The Chairman and members of the Saudi Contractors Authority’s Board of Directors are pleased to invite the Authority’s full members—Saudi contractors licensed to practice contracting who have completed their membership registration—to participate in the Fourth General Assembly Meeting.

The meeting will be held on Tuesday, 28/12/1441 AH, corresponding to August 18, 2020, at 7:30 PM, via the following link:

The agenda includes discussion, member comments and remote voting on the following items:

• Approval of the Authority’s annual report for 2019.
• Approval of the Authority’s final accounts for 2019.
• Approval of the Authority’s strategic action plan.
• Approval of the proposed budget for 2020.
• Approval of the Authority’s investment policy.
• Appointment of the external auditor and determination of the auditor’s remuneration for 2020.

A quorum of at least half of the members is required for the meeting to proceed. If a quorum is not reached, another meeting will be called no fewer than 15 days and no more than 60 days after the first meeting. The subsequent meeting will be valid regardless of the number of members attending, in accordance with Article 7, paragraph 3, of the Authority’s governing regulations.

If the first meeting does not reach a quorum, the subsequent meeting will be held on Thursday, 15/01/1442 AH, corresponding to September 3, 2020, using the same link, at the same time and with the same agenda.

• Participation is restricted to Saudi contractors who have completed their membership registration with the Authority.
• The commercial registration holder or an authorized Saudi representative must participate personally.
