SCA Earns Great Place to Work® Certification in 2019

At a small ceremony held last week, the global organization Great Place to Work® recognized the Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) after its workplace was recently selected as one of Saudi Arabia’s best work environments for 2019. Since its establishment nearly 30 years ago, the organization has advised institutions and companies on building outstanding workplaces founded on trust and appreciation for others.

Great Place to Work® publishes an annual list that serves as an international benchmark for workplace culture, giving organizations a valuable opportunity to assess their needs and foster a positive, engaging work environment.

The Saudi Contractors Authority’s inclusion in this list reflects its commitment to continuously improving all aspects of its work environment and achieving the highest levels of productivity and quality while encouraging creativity and innovation. These efforts are driven by the dedication of its employees, who are the driving force behind building the future with confidence.

Commenting on the certification, SCA Secretary-General Eng. Thabet Al-Suwaid praised the team’s successive achievements despite the Authority’s relatively recent establishment and the challenges it faces with determination in supporting national priorities and Saudi Vision 2030. He expressed pride in the Authority’s employees, whose exceptional efforts have helped create an outstanding workplace. He also thanked Great Place to Work® for its assessment and constructive feedback, which will guide the Authority’s workplace improvements in the coming period.

The Saudi Contractors Authority was established by Council of Ministers Resolution No. 510, dated 23/11/1436 AH, to regulate and develop the contracting sector and support the Kingdom’s development.
