The Saudi Contractors Authority has announced the 8th edition of the International Future Projects Forum & Exhibition 2026, scheduled to take place from December 7 to 10, 2026, at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center, with broad local and international participation reflecting the growing interest in the Kingdom’s contracting sector and development projects.
This edition will be presented in a new format and is set to be the largest in the forum’s history. The event will serve as a global platform bringing together contractors and industry stakeholders with project owners from both the public and private sectors. It will showcase future projects of various sizes and enable contractors to learn about project owners’ requirements and application procedures, enhancing transparency and increasing the efficiency of competition within the sector.
The forum is expected to attract more than 400 local and international entities, making it one of the region’s leading specialized events in the construction and building sector. It will also provide an exceptional opportunity to strengthen partnerships, build professional relationships among key stakeholders, and explore investment opportunities in future projects.
The event will feature a wide range of activities covering various aspects of the sector, including the main forum, the international exhibition, the Contracting Sector Excellence Awards, the National Construction Festival, the Contractors Financing Conference, the Contracting Innovation Challenge, and specialized workshops. It will also host the annual meeting of the International Federation of Asian and Western Pacific Contractors’ Associations.
The event reflects the Authority’s commitment to supporting the growth of the contracting sector and strengthening integration and communication among relevant stakeholders, contributing to the achievement of development objectives and enhancing the efficiency of future project implementation across the Kingdom. It also demonstrates the Authority’s role in enabling contractors to access high-value opportunities and providing an interactive environment for the exchange of expertise and knowledge among government entities, private-sector organizations, and investors.
The forum contributes to greater transparency in project tendering and strengthens competition among companies, while supporting innovation in implementation methods and modern technologies across the construction sector. It also aligns with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by contributing to the development and increased efficiency of the contracting sector, stimulating investment, and enhancing local content, thereby positively impacting the national economy and sustainable development.
