The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) has announced that the third edition of its Future Projects Forum (FPF), running from March 22 to 24, 2021, will showcase 1,000 projects valued at over SAR 600 billion (USD 160 billion).
More than 37 government and private entities will participate, presenting projects across sectors including oil and gas, petrochemicals, energy and electricity, infrastructure, housing and mining.
The 2020 edition brought together more than 2,000 contractors and 35 government and private entities at the Hilton Riyadh Hotel & Residences.
The Authority said the Forum helps contractors improve their planning and decision-making by providing information on project schedules and estimated implementation costs.
It also gives contractors opportunities to explore upcoming projects and business opportunities, helping them prepare their future plans.
For project owners, the Forum provides a platform to present their projects, promote transparency and competitiveness, and build relationships with industry stakeholders.
According to the Forum’s website, the 2021 edition will be held virtually, with more than 10,000 contractors expected to participate.
Contractors, investors and others interested in attending the sessions can register through the Future Projects Forum registration page.
