Saudi Contractors Authority Holds Fourth Edition of the Contracting Sector Excellence Awards 2024

The Saudi Contractors Authority (SCA) organized the fourth edition of the Contracting Sector Excellence Awards 2024, held under the patronage of H.E. Mr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Hogail, Minister of Municipalities and Housing, and attended by Eng. Ali Al-Rajhi, Assistant Minister for Empowerment and Compliance, and Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan, Chairman of the Saudi Contractors Authority.

The Contracting Sector Excellence Awards are one of the Saudi Contractors Authority’s key initiatives aimed at promoting international best practices across the contracting sector. Through the Awards, the Authority recognizes outstanding individuals and organizations in the industry, with the aim of inspiring others and encouraging creativity and innovation.

Through 16 awards, the initiative seeks to advance international best practices in the contracting sector, develop local capabilities, and strengthen competitiveness in creativity and innovation by recognizing and supporting outstanding individuals and organizations in the construction industry.

The fourth edition featured award categories including Best Construction Contractor, Best Mining Services Contractor, Best Building Services and Landscaping Contractor, Best Organization in Occupational Safety and Health Practices, Best SME Contractor, Best Project, Best Consulting Firm, Best Factory, Best Male Leader, Best Female Leader, and Best Innovation.

The Saudi Contractors Authority seeks to regulate and develop the contracting industry, build distinguished productive capabilities, encourage innovation, and strengthen communication among stakeholders across the sector. It also works to create a secure and enabling environment that serves project owners, contractors, industry professionals, and other stakeholders.
