The Saudi Contractors Authority will launch the fifth Future Projects Forum tomorrow at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh. The two-day event is held under the patronage of Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing Majid bin Abdullah Al-Hogail.

The forum connects project owners, contractors, manufacturers and suppliers. It highlights future opportunities and the contracting sector's role in delivering Saudi Vision 2030 projects and supporting other industries.

SCA Chairman Eng. Zakaria Al-Abdulqader said more than 40 public- and private-sector organizations would present details of over 3,000 projects valued at SAR 1 trillion. More than 3,000 contractors and other participants from 14 countries are expected, with sponsorship from major national companies.

The forum brings stakeholders together in one place, helping contractors of different sizes and specialties share experience and explore the sector's future.

Al-Abdulqader noted that seven years had passed since Vision 2030 was launched. Its impact was becoming visible across the economy, employment and projects of all sizes.

He said achieving the Vision requires a strong, mature and well-organized contracting sector. Projects at the forum cover housing, transport, logistics, education, healthcare, tourism, entertainment, hospitality, real estate, energy, utilities and manufacturing.

SCA works to regulate and develop contracting, build productive capabilities, encourage innovation and strengthen communication across the industry.
