SCA Launches Contractor Skills Bootcamp

The SCA Academy launched the Contractor Skills Bootcamp yesterday to develop technical and management capabilities across the sector.

The three-day interactive program covers the contractor's journey from establishing and qualifying a business to managing operations, delivering projects and completing high-quality handovers.

Participants learn about professional standards, available contracting activities and how to select an appropriate specialization. The program also addresses sector challenges and the procedures needed to register and qualify a business.

It supports the development of workers in small and medium-sized contracting establishments, as well as larger businesses, and introduces relevant regulations.

Participants include the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority, Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, Etimad, the Project Management Institute, the Saudi Building Code National Committee, the National Center for Government Resource Systems, and other organizations.
