Contracting Challenges Conference 2021

The Saudi Contractors Authority will hold a virtual conference tomorrow on challenges facing the contracting sector. Panel discussions and workshops will explore challenges during crises and possible responses.

First-day speakers represent the Ministry of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority, Monsha'at, and the National Housing Company.

The opening panel, on contracting agreements and dispute resolution, begins at 10:00 AM.

The second day will focus on facilities management challenges. Consultants and industry professionals will take part in workshops and discussions organized with the Saudi Facility Management Association.

The first session on that day will examine facilities management's contribution to economic development.

This is the event's second consecutive year, with participation from government bodies that play a major role in contracting.
