Saudi Contractors Authority Participates in “Climate-Neutral Real Estate” Workshop Organized by the Embassy of the Netherlands in the Kingdom

As part of the Saudi Contractors Authority’s (SCA) efforts to support sustainable construction, Chairman of the Board Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan participated in the “Climate-Neutral Real Estate” workshop, hosted by the Saudi Council of Engineers and organized by the Embassy of the Netherlands in the Kingdom. The workshop was attended by H.E. Hans Peter van der Woude, Ambassador of the Netherlands, along with representatives from a number of relevant Dutch companies.

In his remarks, Mr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Ajlan emphasized that sustainability is no longer an option, but a necessity for the construction sector, noting that Saudi Vision 2030 aims to create a more resilient and sustainable built environment.

The Saudi Contractors Authority delivered a presentation highlighting the key services it provides to Saudi and international contractors. The Dutch side also presented opportunities for cooperation between Dutch companies with advanced technologies, programs, and patents, and Saudi contractors with extensive experience in the local market.
