Al-Ajlan Elected Chairman, Bin Tuwaili Deputy

The Saudi Contractors Authority announced that its Board elected Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Al-Ajlan as Chairman and Eng. Abdulaziz bin Nayef bin Tuwaili as Deputy Chairman.

The election took place at the first meeting of the Board's fourth term today.

The new Board includes representatives of five government bodies: the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, Ministry of Commerce, and the Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority.

It also includes five private-sector members and one member with specialist expertise. This structure strengthens public-private cooperation in addressing contracting challenges.

SCA was established by a Council of Ministers resolution to regulate and develop contracting, build productive capabilities and create a safe environment that meets international quality standards. Its initiatives encourage innovation and communication across the sector.
