SCA Launches Advisory Services Platform

The Saudi Contractors Authority has launched its Advisory Services platform under the patronage of the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs and Housing. The initiative supports Saudi Vision 2030 and better quality of life and urban services.

The platform brings together consultants, experts and specialists who advise contractors, project owners and individuals interested in contracting. Consultants can schedule and deliver sessions in person or remotely.

It addresses challenges such as poor project quality, difficulty finding management and technical advice, high consulting costs, limited business management skills, shortages of project expertise, and weak technology and infrastructure.

The service aims to improve project delivery through competition and knowledge sharing, and make expert advice easier to access through one platform.

Remote consultations and competition among providers can reduce costs for users across the Kingdom. The platform also helps people establish businesses and award projects with expert support.

Experts in finance, project planning, finishing and other fields can help close technical and management gaps. The service also supports modern technology, better infrastructure and international best practices.

Both registered and unregistered contractors can use the service. SCA members can request consultations through Muqawil, while nonmembers can access them through National Single Sign-On.

The platform offers three main fields, comprising 18 groups and 94 specialized services. Management advice covers business formation, productivity and operational efficiency. Technical advice covers the full project lifecycle. Building advice spans design and construction through finishing and interior decoration.

Advisory Services is one of SCA's 22 initiatives to support Saudi Vision 2030 through a vibrant contracting sector, economic development, international competitiveness and an attractive investment environment.
